Patrons of Fighterworld are welcome to use the Observation Deck attached to the main hangar building to view the day to day operations of Williamtown airfield.

The airfield is Australia's Premier fighter aircraft base and home to all of Australia's fighter aircraft squadrons.
Williamtown also hosts Newcastle's Civil Airport which services large areas of NSW with civilian flights to most destinations around Australia
